This easy Chocolate Strawberry Tart is yummy, inexpensive and impressive. A beautiful dessert that is easy for the busy mom to set and forget. NOTE: this recipe does have you refrigerate the dessert for a chunk of time before finishing.
What you need:
2 cup Heavy Cream
½ cup Milk
2 tsp Vanilla
1 cup White Chocolate chips
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips
1 1oz package Freeze Dried Strawberries
1 container of Fresh Strawberries
1 (7.25oz) bottle of Smuckers Chocolate Fudge Hard Shell
Oreo Cookie Crust
What you do:
The mixture will remain lumpy. Once everything is melted add the mixture to your blender and puree on low.
Chef tip: when you put the hot mixture into the blender and put the blender top on use a kitchen towel or hot pad to hold the lid on so when the mixture splashes inside the blender it won’t burn your hand.
Once your filling mixture is pureed pour it into your Oreo crust. You can now refrigerate you Chocolate Strawberry Tart for 3-4 hours or if you are in a hurry you can put your tart in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Once your tart is completely cooled you can add the Smuckers Chocolate Fudge hard shell. Spread it all over the top of the tart. Next add your cut strawberries around the edge of the tart.
You can stop here or for extra embellishment you can add some chocolate covered strawberries in the center like I did or for a more simple decoration you can add a dollop of whipped cream on the top.
Ta-da! Beautiful! Chocolate Strawberry Tart!
Keep refrigerated until serving.
This Chocolate Strawberry Tart pairs well with a Pink Moscato 😉
