Week Three: July Fashion Challenge
This month, I am taking a style challenge. Being a stay at home mom it gets easy to fall into the jeans and t-shirt slump so I am challenging myself (and you) to step away from the every day slump and dress for success. I’ve read many times you need to “dress for the job you want.” I also am a firm believer in your dress for how you want your day to go. I want to be successful and productive everyday and so that is how I dress.
So I thought it would be fun to share with you a round-up of my outfits from this past week challenging myself to change it up a bit and that maybe it might inspire you and give you a new perspective on some pattern mixing and create some super cute outfit combos.
Here’s what I wore this past week:
On Monday, I am in love withpattern mixing. This mix of sailboats and stripes has gotten me many compliments. Another out of the box outfit for me.
- Whole Outfit from Kohls
Tuesday: I love how this top from Stitch Fix is light enough that it can be worn during the summer season.
- Shirt: Stitch Fix
- Shorts: Kohls
- Vest: Kohls
- Dress: Old Navy
- Necklace: Stitch Fix
- Shoes: Walmart ($5.00 find woot woot)
Thursday: A floral top with cream lace shorts. I have had these shorts sitting in my closet since last season not knowing what to wear with them. I think this may have been my favorite outfit of the week!
- Top: Kohls
- Lace Shorts: Kohls
- Shoes: Payless
- Dress: LuLaRoe – Carly
- Shoes: Hand-me-downs
Tune in next week for your next fashion fix!
