This month, I am taking a style challenge. Being a stay at home mom it gets easy to fall into the jeans and t-shirt slump so I am challenging myself (and you) to step away from the every day slump and dress for success. I’ve read many times you need to “dress for the job you want.” I also am a firm believer in your dress for how you want your day to go. I want to be successful and productive everyday and so that is how I dress.
So I thought it would be fun to share with you a round-up of my outfits from this past week challenging myself to change it up a bit and that maybe it might inspire you and give you a new perspective on some pattern mixing and create some super cute outfit combos.
Here’s what I wore this past week:
On Monday, I didn’t get a full body picture of this outfit however I love this top and its a great pick to kick off my style challenge. The top is from StitchFix and the necklace is an awesome gift from my oldest son, Carson. It has a refreshing pop of color to it.
- Top: StitchFix
- Shorts: Kohls
- Necklace: Charming Charlies
Tuesday: Every Fourth Of July We take a family photo. This one really shows the sass in this family.
- My Entire Outfit from Kohls
- Addison’s Dress is Old Navy
- Both Carson & Landon are wearing outfits from Crazy8
- The Hubs, I found his party shirt at Walmart.
- Wednesday: Keeping up with the Independence Day attire day two.
Thursday I wore this flowy 3/4 length blouse, even for summer it was light an airy.
Friday Fashion: A little tired after all of our Fourth of July festivities so I wanted to dress a little more casual today without turning back to my usual jeans and t-shirt.
My Saturday style, I must admit I regressed a bit. I love wearing my “Momboss” shirt from Cents of Style and while doing some errands and cleaning plus with a sick mini it ended up being a jeans and t-shirt day.
- Shirt: Cents of Style
- Jeans: Kohls
- Shoes: Old Navy
Tune in next week for your next fashion fix!
